The Southern Moreton Bay Islands (SMBI) - including Russell, Macleay, Lamb, and Karragarra - aren't part of the Gold Coast, but they're just a short trip away by private boat, or via the passenger ferry that departs from the Redland Bay Ferry Terminal (Weinam Creek Ferry Terminal).
